PAC/Grassroots Intern


The Consumer Electronics Association has an exciting opportunity for a Political Action Committee/Grassroots Intern. The primary function of this position is to assist the PAC and Grassroots Manager in various projects, including fundraising, grassroots mobilization and administrative tasks as needed.  The position will involve assisting in the management of donor level programs for CEA's political action committee, CEAPAC. 

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in producing CEAPAC's quarterly newsletter.
• Assist in planning and execution of political action committee (PAC) events.
• Assist in marketing efforts for the CEAPAC donor's clubs, including direct mailings for solicitation efforts.
• Assist in recognition follow-up with CEAPAC donors.
• Maintain donor database through CapWiz.
• Assist in planning and execution of grassroots mobilization efforts

Work Experience:
At least one year (full or part-time) work experience is preferred.

Education/Training:
• Working toward undergraduate degree preferably in related field (i.e. public policy, political science, government)
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Software
• Familiarity with PAC activities a plus

Additional Information:
• This position requires a minimum 20 hour work week and has a pay rate of $14.00/hr.
