Multi-Association Letter Urging Senate Action on the Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act
CEA along with seven other technology and trade organizations signed a letter calling on the Senate to consider the Commercial Spectrum Act to facilitate the reallocation of spectrum from governmental to commercial users.

CEA Part 15 Filing
To advance the use of unlicensed spectrum, CEA filed comments on January 23rd in response to the Federal Communication Commission Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on changes to technical rules in Part 2 and 15. The changes proposed in the NPRM would permit operators, including wireless internet service providers (WISPs), and device manufactures to more readily modify or substitute technically equivalent parts, facilitating increased deployment of broadband services.
