Statement of Principles, Criteria and Verification Procedures on Driver Interactions with Advanced In-Vehicle Information and Communications Systems
The 'Statement of Principles' is a voluntary industry guideline to address essential safety aspects to be taken into account for the human machine interface (HMI) for driver interactions with future in- vehicle information and communication systems equipped with visual or manual/visual interfaces. It specifically does not apply to voice-activated systems or to systems using head-up displays.
