CEA's Government Alert is a monthly electronic publication that brings the view from our nation's capitol, statehouses and more to our members' doorstep. To receive your monthly copy, please e-mail publicpolicy@CE.org or visit CEA's members-only website.CEA is a familiar and influential figure on Capitol Hill, before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and wherever policymakers are considering issues that might affect the consumer electronics (CE) industry. CEA monitors state and federal legislation and regulations, and assesses the potential effects on the CE industry. Staff routinely keep CEA members informed through various means, one being the monthly Government Alert. Staff also act as a focal point for members to alert CEA about potentially harmful effects of proposed laws or regulations.
