This week, CEA released the second annual report of our industry’s eCycling Leadership Initiative, which measures and promotes responsible recycling nationally. More than 585 million pounds of electronics were responsibly recycled in 2012 by CE companies, which is an increase of 27 percent over 2011 (460 million pounds), and a total increase of 95 percent since 2010 (300 million pounds).
