Overview

CEA honored the 2012 Digital Patriot award recipients on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 as the year's foremost industry and policy leaders behind our most cutting-edge technology and the legal and regulatory framework that allows the industry to flourish.

All proceeds from the Digital Patriots Dinner ticket sales and sponsorships were donated directly to the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Named for the late Secretary of Commerce and inspired by his dedication to public service, the Ron Brown Scholar Program provides scholarships and support for bright but economically-challenged African Americans seeking higher education. The Program has named 281 Ron Brown Scholars, and has a 100 percent success rate of its Scholars completing college and being involved in community service. More than 98% of its graduated Scholars are now gainfully employed or obtaining advanced degrees.
