Description:
The GPS arena has experienced hyper growth over the past several years as the convergence effect has altered the technology from a product set to a feature set. On the one hand, this shift has benefited GPS by raising consumer awareness of the technology and growing the user base substantially. We can see the impact of this phenomenon in the myriad of GPS-enabled products, services, price points and sales channels that exist in today’s marketplace.
On the other hand, it has also created competitive pressures and channel conflict as various product incarnations of GPS vie for sales and market penetration. So what does the future hold and how can we succeed in an increasingly crowded and competitive GPS market?
To answer this question we must start with a profile of existing GPS users. How do they use the technology? How satisfied are they? Then we can examine future GPS buyers – focusing on purchase drivers and intentions. What is the total market opportunity for GPS in the coming year? These questions and more will be answered during the webcast.
