Hearing Loss Association of America

On May 22, 2013, The CEA Foundation announced a grant for $50,000 to the Hearing Loss Association of America. The Foundation’s pledge to HLAA will effectively fund a hands-on, train-the-trainer program on hearing assistive and emerging technologies for consumers with hearing loss.
The intensive three-day training program will allow consumers to improve their knowledge and ability to use new technologies to access information and to communicate effectively. Their newfound skillset will allow them to pass on knowledge to other consumers with hearing loss. Such awareness will benefit  those suffering from hearing loss by shedding light on a variety of assistive and emerging technologies that are available to keep them healthy, active, vital and safe.
