What is a Regular Membership?

If your company is a manufacturer or distributor of consumer electronics or related products, or a provider of a technology or service that interoperates with or enhances a CE device, then your home in CEA starts with a regular membership. U.S. or Canada business location is required.


How Do I Join?

You may complete the online membership application to join CEA. If you prefer, you can fax your completed membership application to 703-907-7950 or email it to membership@CE.org. 

Please note: Access to member benefits is not available until your membership dues are paid in full. Membership dues are nonrefundable.

What is the Cost to Join?

Determine your annual dues by selecting your company's annual sales of consumer electronics or related products, services and technologies that interoperate with or enhance a CE device. To ensure accuracy of member dues, CEA may ask prospective members to provide supporting documentation. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential.

What is a Startup Membership?

CEA has introduced a new membership category for startups. Companies who qualify can access all the benefits of regular CEA membership at a reduced rate of $95 per year (regular membership dues start at $850). To qualify for this membership, companies must be in development of a technology product, service or app that has been introduced into the market within the last year or will be within the next year; have annual sales under $1 million; be located in North America; and not have been a CEA member within the past two years. Companies can receive regular CEA membership benefits at the reduced rate in the startup category for no more than two consecutive years.
 
If you wish to apply for startup membership, be sure to use priority code CESU13 when completing the Regular Membership application to receive the reduced membership rate. Membership applications will be reviewed for eligibility before access to benefits is granted. 

Startup membership does not qualify for a discount on exhibit space at the 2014 international CES.
