March Madness, Other Sporting Events Drive Early Adoption of Technology
With the start of the NCAA’s March Madness basketball tournament this week, sports fans around the country are uniting their love of basketball with their love of technology. According to the study released today by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, CEA Sports and Technology Study V, nearly two-thirds (65 percent) of sports “Super Fans” describe themselves as early technology adopters. Correspondingly, those least enthusiastic about sports are more likely to identify themselves as late technology adopters (36 percent), strengthening the positive relationship between sports and technology. CES on the Hill Exhibitors Showcase Tech Innovation in Nation’s Capital
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced exhibitors for the 2013 CES on the Hill, an invitation-only event providing policy makers the opportunity to interact with the technology companies and products that are revolutionizing the way we live, work and play. Government Officials and Industry Leader to be Honored at CEA’s Digital Patriots Dinner for Roles in Advancing Innovation
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) and U.S. Congressmen Jared Polis (D-CO) and Greg Walden (R-OR) will be honored for their support of technology innovation at the ninth annual Digital Patriots Dinner.
