Consumer Sentiment on Tech Spending sees Thanksgiving Shopping Surge
Consumer confidence toward technology spending surged in November ahead of Black Friday and the peak holiday shopping season, according to the latest data released today by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®. Importance of Ecycling: CEA Study says More People are Recycling Electronics
Consumer survey is part of CEA’s ongoing recycling education and outreach efforts
A new study from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® shows electronics recycling receives continued support among consumers. According to the Recycling and Reuse Study, 2014 Edition, more than four-fifths of U.S. adults (82 percent) say recycling their old electronics is important or very important to them, and one-third of consumers surveyed (30 percent) recycled electronics products in the last year, a four percent increase from 2012.

More Americans Than Ever to Shop Online and via Mobile Devices over the Holiday Shopping Weekend
Number of U.S. adults expecting to buy tech over the weekend up five percentage points
A record-breaking 103.3 million Americans will shop online between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday this year, an increase of 6.1 million shoppers over 2013, according to a new survey released today by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ®. CEA’s 2014 Pre-Black Friday Report also finds, in total, 143 million U.S. consumers plan to shop over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, with 89 million U.S. adults planning to buy consumer technology products.

From Cowboys to Movie Stars: CEA Inducts 12 Industry Leaders into the 2014 CE Hall of Fame

Today, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® announced Denise Medved has been named vice president of sales and business development for the International CES® and International CES Asia. Medved brings extensive experience in trade show management and development. She comes to CEA from Tiny Kitchen Inc., where she served as president and CEO since its establishment in 2005. Medved also held senior management positions at Reed Exhibition Companies, IDG World Expo, and National Trade Productions, Inc.
