Women in CE Honor CEA’s Tara Dunion at 2013 International CES®
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that Tara Dunion, senior director of event communications, CEA, received the 2013 Women in CE Legacy Award. The fourth annual Legacy Awards reception was held last night at the 2013 International CES®. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2013 CES is the world’s largest annual innovation event and runs through January 11, 2013.

CE Industry Revenues to Reach Record-High $209 Billion in 2013, According to CEA
Revenues for the consumer electronics (CE) industry are projected to grow nearly three percent, reaching a new record-high of $209.6 billion, according to the semi-annual industry forecast released today by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®. The forecast also shows 2012 industry revenues reached $204 billion, up five percent from the previous year. Consumers Seek, Embrace Built-In Features in HDTVs, CEA Study Finds
Consumers are seeking high-definition televisions (HDTVs) with the latest built-in features as a growing number of U.S. adults own smart app-enabled displays, according to new research from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®. The study, Beyond 2D Viewing: Understanding the Demand for Advanced Television Features, examined whether current built-in television features, such as 3D and Internet-connected applications, are meeting the needs of consumers.
