NRSC Updates IBOC Digital Radio Standard

The National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC), co-sponsored by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), today adopted an updated version of its in-band/on-channel (IBOC) digital radio broadcasting standard, NRSC-5-C. The new version includes more than 70 modifications that address improvements and refinements to the HD Radio™ system benefitting both broadcasters and listeners. Full Release

Volunteers Needed for CEA, CEDIA Home Illumination Study
