CEA Resources to Help Retailers CEA has developed a Wireless Communications Retailer Tool Kit designed to help retailers maximize wireless sales. The Tool Kit, which comes as a CD, includes excerpts from CEA's Selling Wireless Successfully: The Retailer's Survival Guide, the Wireless Product Specialist Study Guide, as well as wireless consumer research information from CEA's Market Research Department is available for $29.95 from www.CE.org/store. The kit also offers a link to CEA's online retail training program, www.CEknowhow.com, which includes the Wireless Certification Program (WCP). Retailers can equip their wireless representatives with the knowledge they need to get up-to-speed quickly using the free, online training resource that combines education with entertainment. A proven wireless training, CEknowhow’s WCP offers a value-added training resource for wireless dealers, carriers and others in the business. The CEknowhow WCP training has both animation and interactive modules. Users view the entire animation or click through each page in any sequence. Upon completing the entire module, the link to the quiz is displayed. The quiz must be completed to get credit for the training. A companion study guide also is available ($29.95); the 180-page study guide gives an overview of the wireless industry and what retailers need to know to sell wireless phones, PDAs, pagers, voice and data plans and accessories. |
