Home Information Expands The home information product category remains the single largest industry segment and includes everything from PCs and related devices, to digital cameras, corded and cordless phones. Consumers are networking devices to store and share digital photos and music with friends and family. Digital camera sales surged to nearly 25 million units worth more than $7 billion in 2005, while the replacement market for lower priced yet more powerful PCs grew by about ten percent to more than 22 million units with a dollar value that held steady at $18.2 billion.
