Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®), will testify tomorrow
before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Telecommunication and the Internet's hearing,
entitled, "The Audio and Video Flags: Can Content Protection and Technological Innovation Coexist?" Shapiro will
explain his concerns about the audio and video flags and the vital need to preserve the innovation, integrity and
usefulness of the products that CEA members deliver to consumers.
