Committee Scope
R5 identifies technical characteristics of antennas to fit categories defined in the mapping project, and, further, to define testing methodologies or standards required to support a color coded logo licensing program for TV antennas. R5 focuses on all five categories of terrestrial television receiving antennas. This includes describing antenna mapping project categories. Nearly all existing antenna products will fit into one or more of the five antenna categories.
