Committee Scope
WG1 is conducting 5-year reviews of CEA-849-A, Application Profiles for EIA-775-A Compliant DTVs (published December 2001) and CEA-775.2, Service Selection Information for Digital Storage Media Interoperability (published September 2000); and including new features in CEA-775-B, DTV 1394 Interface Specification, such as: adding new textual descriptor (proposed by Motorola previously); and adding optional new HD formats to Table 13, 14, 15 (1280x720 & 1920 x 1080) to comport with proposed revisions to CEA-799 (OSD Specification) suggested by R4.8 WG6.
Current Projects
WG1 is conducting 5-year reviews of CEA-849-A (Application Profiles) and CEA-775.2 (Service Selection), and including other options in CEA-775-B (DTV 1394 Interface Specification).
