Committee Scope
The Metadata Study Group is studying the applications and use cases of metadata and will make a recommendation to the CEA Technology & Standards Council concerning the metadata requirements of CE devices, the need for metadata-related CEA relationships with other organizations, the need for metadata-related coordination of standards development, as well as possible standards and/or recommended practices that define how CE products receive, share, process and display metadata.
